so I would definitely use other types of office software over this. It didn't have well placed options in my opinion, kept giving me errors whenever I placed a frame, would hang at start up, etc. I don't know if GS had something to do with this or not. Saving as PDF had some issues as well, it would save but corrupted. When I would put an image into the frame, I could no longer resize my Scribus window and other things would quit responding. I also suggest reading the help file for instructions.Īside from that, I wasn't real enthused by this. Also, it's better to install GS PRIOR to Scribus, if not, just go to "preferences", External Tools, find your GS install, and point to the correct directory. If you want to install GS, I suggest searching the web for it as Scribus had some dead links. First off, it gives you a warning that GhostScript is not installed, well, don't panic, you don't need it to use most of it anyway.
